The Fugue

Ben Greenberg, Joe Somar, Conrad Vollmer, Tia Vincent

The Fugue became the house band for Steve Palmer's The Place, one of Southeast Florida's teen hot spots in the 1960's. They also recorded a single that was, unfortunately, never released. Many members of the group had already been in several earlier bands, so The Fugue could truly be considered a super group of local Florida musicians. Tragically, all but four members were killed in a horrible bus accident in 1993 (on a tour opening for The Lemonheads). The Fugue are four undead silhouettes haunting the junkyards of Hell's Kitchen. They are faces you must airbrush onto an incredibly huge t-shirt right now. Miss them as much as you miss Left Eye and be glad you touched their faces when they came to your Christmas party last year. These spirits of vengence now put out records for whoever asks. The Fugue are the Noid. Your life is a Domino's pizza.

Mysterious Animals EP

REC010

The loved and hated 4-song EP from Die Fugue USA! Features artwork by Seripop. "This is dirty, gritty, and raw, everything that punk should be, only elevated and played with intent to blow out every speaker, subwoofer, and amplifier around in the process." - punknews.org

Four Corner Races 7-inch

REC004

The first release from NYC's The Fugue! Three songs exclusive to this record, pressed on clear "piss yellow" vinyl! LIMITED EDITION of 500. "Totally ace! The Fugue sound like... an amalgam of The Seconds, Les Savy Fav and the noisier moments [of] Shellac... It makes you want to dance, fight and fuck in equal measures." - Tasty Fanzine
